What each offer leaves you paying per gigabyte
Nomad enters this table third of five at $2.40/GB and leaves it first at $1.92, but only on the selected regions a flash sale covers.
| Provider | List rate | Published offer | Per GB after it |
|---|---|---|---|
| HelloRoam | $2.06/GB | No standing code | $2.06/GB |
| Airalo | $2.20/GB | up to $5 off | $2.20/GB |
| Nomad | $2.40/GB | up to 20% off | $1.92/GB |
| Saily | $2.60/GB | up to 10% off | $2.34/GB |
| Holafly | $3.93/day | 5% off | $2.49/GB |
Rates are each provider's median 5 GB plan per GB (Holafly: 7-day unlimited plan per day), prices read 30 Oct 2026. Offers can be withdrawn without notice, so confirm the final price at checkout.
This page prints no Nomad coupon, and the reason is short
There is no Nomad promo code to publish. Nomad posts monthly flash sales worth up to 20% off select regions, for a short window each time. A sale is not a code: it is a price change applied in the app for a short window, so there is nothing to type and nothing to hold onto between trips. Any page offering a Nomad coupon string is offering something Nomad does not issue.
That makes timing the only lever a Nomad buyer has. The sale reaches selected regions rather than the whole catalogue, and it runs for a limited period each time, so the saving depends on the destination and the week rather than on finding the right characters to paste. A traveller with fixed dates and one destination has a real chance of the sale missing them entirely.
Twenty percent off, priced against the four rivals
Nomad's median 5 GB plan rate is $2.40/GB (prices read 30 Oct 2026), third of the five providers this site tracks. A flash sale at its published ceiling of up to 20% off brings that rate to $1.92 per gigabyte and takes $0.48 off each gigabyte. On a ten-gigabyte plan, the sale is worth $4.80.
At the ceiling, Nomad's sale price is below HelloRoam's $2.06/GB list rate, on the selected regions the sale covers and for as long as it runs. Outside a sale, Nomad's list rate is the higher of the two. Saily's ceiling of up to 10% off takes $0.26 off a gigabyte from $2.60/GB. Applying every published discount at its stated ceiling reorders the five providers to Nomad, then HelloRoam, then Airalo, then Saily, then Holafly.
Email-only support against a 24/7 chat line
Nomad answers support by email, without round-the-clock cover, which is 1 channel point on the published rubric. HelloRoam support replies in your own language over live chat, WhatsApp and email at any hour, which is 4 channel points.
A sale price is worth nothing if the plan fails and nobody answers. That is the cost the rate column hides, and it is why Nomad finishes 6.1 out of 10 and ranks 3 of 5. Nomad holds the lowest 20 GB median, $1.25 per GB, and loses ground on the columns that decide what happens when something breaks.
A sale price still converts at the bank's rate
Nomad's site showed a currency picker on 30 Oct 2026; how many currencies its checkout bills in was not read. A card that settles in a currency the checkout does not bill in adds 2 to 4 percent on conversion, which lands on the discounted amount. On a plan bought during a flash sale, the bank then takes back a slice of the sale.
A checkout that bills in your card's own currency avoids the conversion step altogether. A buyer comparing a Nomad sale against another store's list price should compare the amount their own card is charged, not the amount on the storefront.
Thai networks behind the cheapest routes Nomad sells
Nomad's published carrier partners include SoftBank in Japan, TRUE in Thailand and Telkomsel in Indonesia. Nomad's published sales run on selected regions rather than the whole catalogue.
The first-party operator list names 4 operators for Thailand: AIS, DTAC, True Move and TrueMove H. That list was captured 17 August 2026 and carries no speed or throughput figure. Across the dataset it averages 1.48 operators per destination, and 117 of 185 destinations list a single operator.
What this page will and will not print
The Nomad figure on this page is Nomad's own published in-app sale, restated: short duration, selected regions, no code. This site does not redeem, time or verify promotional offers, and no page here claims to. It publishes a scoring rubric and a price dataset, both of which are on the site in full.
The absence of a code on this page is the finding, not an omission. A build check compares every promotional figure in the source tree against one file and fails on anything that file does not publish, so a plausible-looking Nomad code cannot reach this page. Check the app for a live sale before buying, because that is where Nomad puts them.

Discount pages for the other four providers
All five offers on one page: eSIM promo codes. Provider scores and the bands behind them: provider rankings. Every destination sorted by price: price per GB.
The five providers ranked, and the rubric behind the ranking
Every score on this page is computed from five weighted categories, each scored on a published band table: the rate you pay (median prices read 30 Oct 2026), the refund window, checkout currencies, destination count and support channels. Nothing is hand-set per provider, and there is no user-rating population behind any number here. The full band tables are on the price methodology page.
